I have 1/2" thick bungee cord, a 300 foot spool of bungee cord and I wanted to make heavy duty custom bungee cords. These thimbles worked great to make heavy duty bungee eyelets. I have also used the thimbles to make eyelets for Amsteel rope/wire for winches and I pulled 5 trees across my property without any issues. The trunk of the tree was 22-24" diameter and the thimbles held up.

Really too early to write a credible review. These are being used on 1/2 inch 3-strand nylon dock lines for a 35 foot sailboat. Seem a little light compared to the thimbles I had been using in the past. I will do an update after we have had some significant wind/wave action.
