I baked the cupcakes for my kid’s birthday party this year, and needed a way to transport them to the venue. This set of cupcake boxes looked right for my needs: I wanted something I could get rid of afterward, and something that would fit in my refrigerator.There weren’t any instructions, but it was easy enough to figure out how they fold together. I was surprised to note that the flaps on the sides had a little cut in them even though the cut in the side of the box was the same height. When I put the flap into the side of the box it slid right back out so I just had to fold the flap down a little where it was pre-cut to make sure it would catch. Normally with a cut like that I would expect the cut in the side of the box to stop right where the cut in the flap ended in order to create an interlocking hold. Though this seemed odd to me, folding down the flap inside the box worked well. I didn’t use tape on any of the boxes and they all held up perfectly.The box’s lid is just a flat piece that covers the top of the box. It is kept in place by flaps on the sides that you fold down, and the cuts on the front that you slot the lid into. If you need to transport something larger, I measured the boxes at about 12.75†wide, 9.75†long, and 3.5†deep. The cupcake separators fit just right in the boxes and kept them steady the whole time. I made them at what I assume is a standard size—using the kind of liners you can find in any store and baked in a muffin pan with space for 12. The separators had cuts and perforations that would allow the holes to be widened if needed, but I did not need to use them.They were sturdy and held up well for the time we needed them: I baked and decorated the day before the party, and used four boxes to store them, all stacked together in the fridge overnight. The next day my husband held them in his lap as I drove us to the venue, still stacked on each other. They were in good shape the whole time and we had no issues. The little window at the top was convenient since I’d baked 3 flavors; we could easily see what was in each.These worked out great for me, and I’ve got plenty left over for future celebrations or to transport similar treats as needed. The boxes are cute and would work nicely for bringing treats to a party or potluck where you don’t want to have to worry about recovering a carrier at the end of the festivities, but you’d still like to have a nice presentation. They are sturdy, stackable when open, and unused ones can be stored flat. I’d happily recommend them to others.

These boxes look very nice when delivering cupcakes. As long as your cupcakes aren't over the top with decorations, they should fit fine. The box itself is mostly sturdy but, like any cupcake boxes that aren't plastic, I wouldn't hold it with one hand. It's easy to assemble but I'd super using tape to ensure it stays secure.
