I don't live at the beach/ocean, so these are just large rubber bands for me.The work as expected.They have a good stretch.They do have an initial smell, but that dissipated within a week.I love the colors.The $5 price is good as well.

These worked great in keeping our towels on the chair in the Caribbean. They were safe when it was windy. They kept the towel on the chair and made it easy to attach and pull back off. They also take up almost no space in the suitcase, not like some of the clips I saw other people use. I was super happy with my purchase.

When I first saw these I thought, "Why have I never heard of these before?" I've gone on many cruises and have family that live by a windy beach. I've tried all kinds of clamps to keep towels in place, but I dislike those because they are so bulky. These particular bands are a bit thinner than I was expecting but they certainly do the job. It's nice to be able to place my towel on a lounge chair and have it stay put. Between uses you can use them to hold a stack of beach towels together, too, and that way you have everything you need when you head for the coast.
