I've been gardening for years. And I always start my seeds for my garden plants inside, in pots. I have never had much luck with planting the seeds and covering them with plastic or with planting in trays and covering with plastic or lids. But these have grow lights. So I thought this might work. And let me tell you, they work. I like them so much I have purchased 3 sets. They have 6 trays, each is a 4 piece set. Each set has a lid, a grow light, a 12 pod tray, and a base tray. So you don't have to worry about water leaks. The lids are extra high. You have a control switch for 3 hours, 6 hours, or 12 hours of light. You can also choose 3 or 6 lights. Each lid also has air vents. These are amazing! I love them!JUST A NOTE: These don't come with a usb wall adapter. DO NOT use a phone charger or other small adapter. I tried that and the adapter overheated! I purchased a 6 port usb 50 watt tower on amazon. It was only $9.99. It works great and doesn't overheat. Perfect for the job!I'm including pictures. The lights on, lights off, the controller, and the 50 watt tower I purchased, and the plants after only 3 days!!!

These will get you off to a good start . The grow lights on them are Brite and will give your plants the light they need to get started growing. Using these you can plant your seeds as you need as you don't have to use all of them at the same time. Do i recommend them? The answer is YES. if you need to start seeds for your garden this is the way to go. dropped to 3 stars as the wires shorted out in the light controller

I like this starter kit. It comes with six container trays, six domes, six growth lights, and a USB cable that connects to the lights. The seedlings grow well using the lights. They are taller and have bigger leaves within a short time period than those without using the lights. One thing to note is that the containers are small so you may want to transplant the seedlings to larger containers once you observe they seem to stop growing taller or bigger.
