Install was simple. If you don’t have a 12volt coil with built in resistance you will need to wire 12v power directly to the lead wire for electronic ignition and keep the inline factory resistor for the coil. With a 12v resistance coil you can eliminate factory resistor from power wire leading to coil and connect the red wire from the electronic ignition directly coil along with coil feed wire. Instructions were clear on wiring and that helped a lot as I was questioning the need for resistor. The 1948 “front mount†distributor 8n purrs like a kitten once again

Unsure how well it work or hold up yet. Package arrived well before estimated date! Instructions seem very straight forward for anyone who has some mechanical background. Excited to add this to my Ford 2N restoration. I will update once it is on and functioning.

Put in a 48 8n that was running fine had trouble every day with is product burning up coils even with balance resistor installed and switched out product is not worth the money or the frustration. Keep your points system or try another brand. Very disappointed lost money in Coils and balance resistors spark plugs wires and time. It’s been very unpleasant

They have a great customer service team and are willing to help, but unfortunately this product did not work for me. I was able to return easily. I purchased the PerTronix 1247 and it worked for me, so if this product doesn’t work for ya, you might try it.

I ordered a similar item from another supplier. Returned it because of missing parts. Reordered from a supplier that I had purchased tractor parts from and as usual it was as advertised, all parts were new in box and the shipping was great. Followed the instructions and now the old 8n runs great. No more setting points.

Have had in my 48 ,8n tractor sent I got it never have had a problem yet so glad I took it almost didn’t do it but I use it on farm for work not show or play so yes I recommend this was going through points like crazy not no more HELLO
