Wiring harness was a little on the clunky side but after fishing it through the firewall on my SxS installation was fairly straight forward. I tapped into the power and ground from my dash 12v accessory receptacle for key on only power as the horn button would stay lighted if using direct to battery connection. Plenty of options under hood for mounting horn and mounting bracket can be bent easily for customization. Loudness rated at 60db and I would say anyone around is going to hear it easily. Price was right, works great.

Horn installed easily and works just fine. Toggle switch does not quite fit the cutouts in the dash. Easy enough to remedy with a little ingenuity.

I bought it to essentially allow for phone free comms as I am running around my farm on one of my three mules. I got the idea from the dealer when I bought my new Kawasaki Mule as an option. It was an add-on of $179.00. I declined and bought one on Amazon and paid a buddy$20.00 to put in. I saved$130.00 and have louder, clearer claxoned horn! I am going to add these to my tractors as well. ( the idea came from my time in the navy watching tug boats talk to each other by horn blasts- makes sense and adds safety to my farm. Farm or not-communicating while driving is essential and this is a very genuine, valuable and safe way to do it and save a LOT of money! It is a no-brainer in my book but then again I like being a realist NOT a fictionist!

Installed in a Polaris Ranger. Had to cut off the plug for power and attach 2 eyelets to connect to the power terminals, but otherwise it was a simple install. It is great to have a horn on the Polaris Ranger. The horn button fit in the dash very firmly.It Quit Working - How do I contact Boine?Contacted them, they replied within hours and are sending a replacement. A quality company - Thanks

I initially posted a positive review, because I thought the kit was pretty good apart from one issue (below). After only a week of installation (and minimal use), the sound of the horn went from a clear "beep" to a garbled-sounding buzz.UPDATE: Turns out the horn body was barely touching something else mounted nearby, and that caused the muted garbled sound. Horn body must not touch anything else but the mounting point.But my particular kit also had a quality control issue. One of the wires leading to the inline fuse came loose from the fuse holder, and there was no easy way to disassemble the fuse holder and re-crimp the end of the wire. I finally managed to re-crimp it by reaching into the fuse holder with some needle-nose pliers.SUMMARY: three stars because of quality control issue with the loose wire.
