Electronics well designed and easy to program. opens and locks smoothly. Door and walls are probably not fire-proof as advertised so I bought fire and water protective pouches for valuable documents I keep at home. Not a high security safe but great value for what it does.

This pos is definitely not fire-proof (just a shell, no insulation, nothing to stop it from melting or contents from combusting, except maybe the door although all the plastic key pad/lock/knob will definitely melt)It is not waterproof, there is no gasket or anything installed to keep water from seeping in around door or through the freaking holes in the back! Oh, and I'm pretty sure fire can burn through holes too, right?!Back it goes tomorrowOH, now my neighbor, a firefighter has gotten a good laugh!

I bought this safe to replace the one I had. The original was good for stashing small things. But I needed to keep a larger file bag safe. This one did the trick.

Perfect size for what we need to store and where we want to his it, but easy enough to grab and carry in a fire if needed. Locking mechanism works well and closing/opening are smooth.

This 2.8 safe box is fine if you know its limits. It is not a bona fide safe! It is, however, fairly sturdy for its size and light weight. The included screw bolts and the 2 holes on bottom allow anchoring to floor or wall. The battery digital combination is a welcomed touch plus the 2 keys provided. Not provided are the 8 AA battery’s needed.A few negatives: The directions are poor ! I needed my granddaughter to decipher it. They also said that door was locked but wasn’t. On lifting the safe the n no no I door it swung open and struck my shin!! OW!
