Not as much detail as I’d like on the US states but it is very nice and beautiful. Like the way you can plug it in and still rotate the globe. My grandson loved it and as he likes a bright night light he wants to use it for that at night.Have only had two months but it looks durable enough without a lot of abuse.

I got this for use in homeschooling.So far, the only thing I can tell that may be an inaccuracy is that it appears to call Oceana a continent, when Oceana is actually the region in which the continent of Australia is located. I'm still exploring this globe, though, so it's possible that I'm misreading the level of the font. As we know, there are certain country borders that are currently in flux, but until that's all over and the borders are determined to be set again, you can't really criticize a globe for whether it has guessed correctly or not.NGL I'm old school and wasn't happy that the only decent looking (and decently sized) globe I could find was of the LED backlit variety. I wanted the globe I grew up with. However, when I finally got around to plugging it in....WOW! I'm in love now. The backlight makes an already easy-to-use globe even easier to use. To whomever came up with this idea: I salute you.This globe is BIG. I know that - in terms of imaging the entire planet earth - 13" doesn't sound like much, but I can assure you that it's a lot bigger than it seems. The countries have well-defined borders and each country and it's neighbors are different colors, which makes it very easy to quickly find what you're looking for. The entire base seems to be made of metal, which makes me love it even more. It took me some searching to find out where to plug into it, but I finally checked the bottom axis and was able to get it done.Overall - considering all the complaining I did while I was opening my wallet - now that I have the globe in front of me and I've had a couple of weeks to get acquainted with the quality of it, I can honestly say that I'm very satisfied with my purchase. 10/10 would buy it again.

I like that it shows the ocean currents. Looks nice. The only problem is the equator alignment. See the attached picture.

This gift was for our granddaughter's 7th birthday. I was concerned she would be disappointed to no avail. When it was out of the box and plugged in to show the beautiful light, she said "Wow! I can learn a lot using this globe!" She was excited and not in the least disappointed with the globe.

Globe was crushed when it arrived. Very disappointing. No present for my grandson.
