I’m pleased with the Dish Wally receiver that I purchased to replace a 3-year old Wally that failed. It works perfectly. I was impressed by the seller, David Arvizu at United RV Center, who contacted me about an issue with my shipping address. They followed through to make sure I received the product. Well done.

This is a good product. It would not work with my old motorhome TVs. The old TV uses coax cable and this unit supports HDMI

I really haven't used this much yet. We use it in our RV and will not be camping until the end of May. This replaced our old Wally. It set up easily after I found out there is no Satellite 129 any longer and seems to work as expected.

We had two VIP211z's using a Winegard Pathway X2 Dish Portable Satellite TV Antenna on our camper. We were looking to upgrade our technology and the Wally receivers are significantly smaller which is a huge bonus! Setup was very smooth but took about 40 minutes for the first time setup. Since we are DISH customers, you need to call DISH and NOT the number provided on the unit to add the receiver to your account.I enabled text to speech on the initial setup and that was very annoying. This can turn this off later in settings. My reason for knocking it down by one star is there is no build-in Wi-Fi. There is a module available but there are only two USB ports. One of them are taken by the OTA module I use for the antenna input and I was hoping to add an external hard drive to turn this into a mini DVR so there would be no additional port available for the Wi-Fi module. Running CAT5 cable within the confines of a camper shell is not an easy project.

My husband wanted to beable to watch his football games while hunting this year, and we use the tailgate for pur rv so we got another box and he was able to watch all his sport games while put hunting in the mountains of Washington state.

The box receiver stopped working after 17 months had to order another one. This is the third one buy extra two yearwarranty or your screwed. They’re not made to last very long.
