Considering that aluminum oxide is used primarily for high temperature electrical applications, you’ll be disappointed to discover these bow and twist horribly at high temperature. I was going to use them for casting Bismuth, but they blew apart into many pieces even with preheating. I have no idea what else they might be useful for, but they are no good for high temp thermal applications.
