This Lamp was a gift for our Tornado Loving 7 year old for his birthday!I can not say enough nice things about it!The Quality is Stellar. The fan inside makes the tornado and we love the different light choices and that there is the Rainbow changing option. He uses it as his nightlight and it doesn't provide too much light that it affects his sleeping at all. I have never felt it get hot. The Price was an incredible steal! It's easy to set up/use. It's lightweight yet durable (yes we had it fall off the dresser, and it is Unscathed)A FAVORITE purchase! 10/10

I bought one of these lamps for both of my nephews (7 and 10yrs) and they both absolutely loved it. The lamp was exactly as described, worked great. It did *not* get warm or hot even though they had it going for over 3 hours during my visit. It makes a great sophisticated nightlight and had a calming effect - they were drawn to it throughout the evening and were mesmerized by the "tornado" of little white beads spinning and the changing colored light. It also appeared to be fairly durable - it dropped once and because it's not made of glass it was fine and still worked without a problem. One note - these lamps only come with a USB cord so you'll need a USB outlet if you want to plug it into the wall and/or you'll need to supply your own batteries if you don't want to use the cord.

This lamp brings me back! Works great and I like the LED energy efficient light. I do have 2 beefs with the lamp though- 1 - you can’t choose the color, it has to cycle. My son doesn’t like the pink and purple phases. 2- came with usb cord but no block to plug it in, so you have to supply your own, which knocks off a star for both of those design flaws. Other than that not a bad little lamp. Good size for a kid!

We had it not even two weeks and the motor started making a grinding sound and then it just quit working. We didn’t even even have it two weeks. Don’t waste your money because this was not a cheap product.

It’s a nice gift to anyone young or old and it works fine would recommend it if you are looking for a tornado lava lamp now I know there are maybe better lava lamps out there but I would start with this one and if it’s junk or not working right or at all then look somewhere else as they say even for the one star rating for this item buyer be ware
