I found the hammer was made very well. It is light weight but has a good blow to it. I have always had good thing to say about Stanley products and this one has not let me down.

Hammer is of good quality but it doesn't have the correct curvature on the head for setting drywall nails without busting the paper. I do not recommend it for drywall.

Drywall axe is NOT 16" long. I specifically ordered this one because I prefer a longer handled axe, and it was listed as 16". It's not even 14".

Overall it seems like a good drywall hammer for a standard length one but I need the 16" one in order to reach the top of an 8' wall to nail off drywall.
