Used this on my plastic gate to make sure my gate was closed cause I have dogs and a teenager who doesn't always close the gate. But it does the job very well. Closes perfectly and is built very well. If I had another gate I would definitely order another. Very easy to install and can change the strength of the spring for stronger or softer closing of the gate.

This works very nicely on my heavy metal gate. I did have to shorten(grind down) it was not seating well and keep popping out when the gate closed.

super easy to install 4 screws and feels like it will last for a very long time.I wish they also include couple of concrete or masonry screws which would have saved $7bucks and a strip to Lowes/Home Depot

Set it up to help keep our front chain link fence gate closed to help keep the dogs inside the yard. If I made the spring action too aggressive, it was difficult to get through the gate opening. If I backed off, the spring would only close the gate to within 6 inches. The purpose of the spring became to remind anyone going through, close the gate!!!

Directions are slightly unclear. Fasten the spring on the outward side of the gate’s swing. It doesn’t pull the gate back, it should be pushing.
