The rear tire has a defective valve. It will not allow airflow and the tire won't inflate. I posted photos showing the difference between the valves in the front and the rear tire. The front one is fine and the tire inflates okay. But as the pictures show, the valve in the rear tire will not come all the way out like the front one. It is pinched inside. I tried pulling it out but it will not come out any more. As you can see in the photo, there is a small gray layer of film that's jamming the valve. Something is seriously wrong. I asked customer service to just send me a replacement rear tire because I would like to keep the bike, but they said I should just return it and get my money back. I hope the seller is reading this, if you send me a replacement rear tire (with the built in wheel) I won't return and I'll revise my review.===============READ REVIEW UPDATE BELOW========================UPDDATE 10-06-2024 --> I've revised this review to 5 stars because the seller was very accommodating and solved my problem quickly and I am happy now. As you can read above, initially there was a problem with the valve in the rear tire. I contacted the seller and told them the problem. They immediately shipped a brand new tire directly to me with a pre-installed inner tube and valve that works well. And they even included an extra inner tube in the package in case I need an extra one in the future. This was ALL at NO additional cost. They packaged everything very carefully with lots of bubble wrap so it arrived in mint condition. My child has been using the bike now and loves it. The air tires offer very good traction, better than foam wheels. The frame is well built, sturdy and light. The paint job is also very good. The seat height adjusts with a snap-adjuster which makes it easier and faster. This is a great balance bike, I recommend it.(fyi, if you have a problem with your bike, I recommend contacting the seller to give them a chance to fix the problem. I contacted Amazon first, but they didn't really help me, they just told me to return it. Then I decided to contact the seller and they quickly fixed the problem, saving me the hassle of returning and ordering a replacement, or shopping for a different bike. Now my child and I are very happy with this bike)

Superb quality, amazingly lightweight. I was really, really surprised, since I considered this a budget purchase. I wanted pneumatic tires, so the very cheapest balance bikes on the market, which cost less than this one, were not an option. But this bike's quality is on par with much more expensive bikes, which blew me away. Why are people paying hundreds of bucks for these things?

Instructions are pretty straightforward but could use some work like installing the handle bar. The tires cane flat which was alright but the valve is broken and the tire will not inflate. The valve just pushes into the tire. This is not the first review. I read other peoples review and they had the same issue. I had to yank the valve out with pliers and was able to pump up the tires.

This was the best purchase for my 5 year old daughter. She couldn’t keep up with friends on her training wheels as she didn’t have the confidence not to fall. This allows her to keep up with friends on pedal bikes and there are no tears or whining that she will fall. I am more confident she will transition to a pedal bike with ease instead of tears.

Excellent bike quality. This has really helped my son learn how to balance quickly and he’ll be ready for a pedal bike soon. Totally worth every penny.

I actually got two for my twins, and they have such a great time with these. Very sturdy. We live in the country and they get these wet and covered in mud, and they're fine.

It seemed like a great balance bike for our 4 year old grandson until a tire went flat. It turned out to be a valve that split, making it impossible to reinflate the tire. Our grandson had only used the bike three times. Amazon was great--we returned the bike and they sent a replacement. The only hard part was finding a box large enough to make the return, since we'd recycled the box it came in. We hope the tires on the replacement will fare a little better.
