Got 2 of them on black Friday in sale..Honestly even at full price they are a steal. They work great and the remote is awesome.....very quiet and the led lights are way better than I expected.Very well made unit that would be twice the price in a camping store..

These seem like a great product, and appear to be well made EXCEPT THEY DO NOT WORK!I installed 2 of these recently while putting a new roof on my 5th wheel. After connecting power they worked one time while I checked all the functions, then both units started beeping any time I push any buttons. I disconnected power for a few minutes and reconnected and they worked again for a few minutes then stopped working again.Now even disconnecting power does nothing, push any button on the unit or remote and all I get is "beep beep beep"Will probably request a refund once I sorce suitable replacements and order more supplies to seal the roof again. What a headache!!!

I had to update my rating and review.After posting my review, the company reached out to me and offered to replace the fan or refund my money. I did not try this first because it had been a couple of months since I bought it. It took me a while to get around to installing it. Due to the top notch customer service, I'll give them 4 stars even though I got a lemon. At least they stand behind their products. Installed it and tried it the first time. It worked...sort of. Sometimes it worked like it was supposed to. Sometimes it did whatever it wanted. It would open and turn on, then it would just stop and close. Sometimes it would just beep. I spent probably an hour trying different things and referring back to the manual and nothing worked as it should. Except every now and then it would work correctly, then it wouldn't. So I disconnected it to double check the polarity, which was correct, then connected it back up. After connecting it back up the second time, all it would do is beep no matter what buttons were pushed. I think I'm just going back to the old school on/off switch with a manual crank to open and close. This was a huge waste of time and money!!!!

I sure would've liked a head's up from the manufacturer. Something along the lines of: "ATTENTION POTENTIAL CONSUMER: you never had a shot. You did all that research to avoid paying over $250 for your RV vent/fan and it was all for naught, because we're going to make the fine print so illegible that you couldn't possibly get it right your first time around. But DON'T FRET newb, you'll gain invaluable experience getting screwed over by an entire industry and it's monopolistic delivery platform, which will allow you to chuckle at all the news behind you who will be almost certain to fall for the same scheme, WHICH IS THE FACT THAT YOU WILL HAVE TO PURCHASE AN "INSTALL KIT", OR SPEND OVER $100 ON MARINE GRADE SEALANT AND BUTYL TAPE TO COMPLETE YOUR INSTALL!"Haha. Hope this helps somebody or prevents a wall from being punched. 3 stars because it turns on and kinda moves the air.

Realy like how it uses such small amounts of power. Can leave it programed and leave it on auto not worrying about rain.
