NiceI made a cool copper scythe. I Got it red hot and hammered on it. Very cool. But dipping in water to quench makes it SOFT. Let it cool slowly in still air after the heat ....to harden copper instead of some quench. Sorry, I couldn't find the photo

Worked perfectly for connecting our Switch and Shunt to the Lynx Distributor in our solar electric cabinet for our van conversion! 😎 Easy to drill holes with regular bit and then grind corners down. I use a small leftover piece in my plants water to eliminate chlorine. Not sure what I’ll do with the remaining 4-5”, but I’m sure I’ll come up with something creative! :)

The copper flat bar was exactly as described. I used the item for a backer for welding aluminum and had no issues.

Its a bar of copper for making your own custom cut/bend bus. What more can you say??

Made a power bus for my 3000W inverter out of this. Works well and does not get warm even under 300A draw at 12V.

I dulled several titanium drill bits trying to drill through this. After giving up, I brought it to my dad's house for a second opinion. He has many years experience in metal and said he's never seen such hard copper. We believe it is an alloy mixed with stainless or spring steel. We discovered that running the drill real slow and using cutting oil was the only way possible to drill through this. Nice piece but I'm not happy because I wanted 100% copper for an electrical application. Nonetheless it seems to have done the job.

I like that it is at the dimensions as stated, not skimped
