These screws look perfect for use in replacing my old, creaky, garage door hinges. They seem well made but I cannot tell if they are zinc coated for rust protection or not. It doesn't say in the listing, and they came bagged with no description or labeling. Zinc coating is critical for screws on a garage door. If they are not rustproofed, they will rust post-haste. Not acceptable. I am going to take a chance on my project but can't really recommend them unless they are to be used in a totally dry environment where rust development isn't an issue. Seller ought to provide the information on coating in the listing. Please do that and save your customers the hassle and aggravation of having rusty screws in a short period of time.... I used then on three overhead doors in my horse stable where moisture is an issue. I will know soon enough if they are rust resistant and will revise my reviews accordingly.

These self-drilling screws worked really well. I highly recommend them. I just made sure I got the right length. The head size was a bit smaller than my existing screws. My bad on that because this information was availble on the site; but not really an inconvenience since I keep multiple sized hex pieces and easily found a fit. But as far as how well they work, very pleased.

The quality and durability of the screws are exceptional. In addition these screws are rust resistant and will last a lifetime.

One of the screw got loose and went missing. Everytime the garage door closes there is an gap. The screw fixes it. A Job well done.

A 7/16" head would be better than 3/8".
