Strips very easily with little holding power. The drill diameter is too big leaving little for the threads to bite in thin metals.Drill dia: 0.211"Thread dia: 0.241"Screw shank dia: 0.170"Otherwise nice quality screw rendered useless.

These are great screws for sheet metal. I just wish I could find the same type on Amazon for wood. The tip is a tad wide and the threads do not get enough grip due to the drill part drilling too big a hole. If you use them in wood they will pull out easier than in sheet metal. But then again, they're not made for wood. But even in sheet metal I should think the auger tip should be slightly smaller than the threads. That would allow the threads to get a better grip. They do work well in 1/8" steel.
