  • The Head style is Countersunk Phillips Flat - This will allow the fastener head to lay flush in the base material. The Diameter is 1/4", The Overall Length is 1.75", The Thread Length is 1.17", The Total number of Threads is 8. [Setting Driver Required & included with each box of Anchors] FOR 1/4" - a 5/16" nut driver is required for driving the anchor into the base material. FOR 1/4" - Each Tapcon style Blue Screw requires a 3/16" hole to be drilled in the base material being used (Concrete, Block, Brick & Wood). The hole should be drilled with the carbide tipped bit that is included in each box of anchors.
  • [Minimum Embedment] The Minimum Anchor embedment into the Base Material is 1". This means the Anchor must be installed so that a minimum of 1" of the anchor is embedded into the Base Material. [Fixture Hole Diameter] FOR 1/4" - The hole in the Fixture or Base Material being Fastened must be Larger than the designated diameter of the anchor. The 1/4" diameter anchor requires the hole in the fixture to be 5/16".
  • [Spacing between Anchors] Each anchor must be spaced a Minimum Distance of 4" from each other Anchor when measured center to center. [Edge Distance] FOR 1/4" - Each anchor Cannot be installed any closer than 3" from an unsupported edge of the concrete. [Maximum Fixture Thickness] The Maximum Fixture Thickness or the Maximum Thickness of the Material being Fastened for a anchor is .25" to .75". This will ensure that the Minimum Embedment of 1" will be met

Product is great and “as described”. I only note that to find the drill bit you have to empty the entire box of screws to find it in the pile.

I used these to mount a motion-detector light to my cinder block wall. Very quick and easy for an elderly lady with a cordless drill! They are holding the light fixture just fine even with extremely high winds, and don't seem to be working their way out of the concrete.
