I bought this 1/4" plate steel to build my Steady Rest for my Clausing Colchester 15 x 50 Lathe. This plate worked perfectly for the base plate of the rest-THANKS!!

The steel plate is in excellent shape, no nicks, scratches or gouging with clean square edges that are not sharp. The plate’s measurements is exactly 18†x 18†measured with a tape measure. As the title says, better than expected.

This was bought for a project that I didn't end up doing. It was a cheaper price than buying the same steel plate locally. The plate was of high quality and I am sure will come in handy for a future project.
