These will work great on a project that I’m working on. Installing some rod holders on my Molle panel in my truck bed . I’ll be able to screw the thumb nobs into the molle panels to hold the rod holders in place to take off and on , when I head to the surf or the lake .

This might be an obscure use case for most people, but I found these when searching for a specific part, just hoping to get something close. I bought a second hand Westin brush guard for my 1990s Chevy/GMC truck/SUV, and it was missing about half of the thumb screw knobs that hold the headlight protectors in place. I determined the thread size and screw length, and since these met those specs I ordered them, hoping that the knobs wouldn't look too different from the remaining factory ones. When I received them, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they are identical to the original screws. It was a bonus that they cost about 1/4th as much as the ones I found at my local hardware store that weren't even close in appearance.

This what I was looking for. I used it to replace a screw that came with the speaker stands for my Samsung rear surround speakers. The stands came with a Phillips screw, which was fine but if you wanted to take off the speakers or you need to have the screwdriver available. Now all I have to do is use my fingers and loosen the screw. No more screwdriver needed.
