Bought this to replace one I have had for 20 years or so. It was working well however the collet was showing signs of wear. Imagine my surprise when this unit arrived and was strikingly identical to my old one. In fact the only difference between the two was that the new one has a safety built into the handle. This does take a lot of air to properly operate but with a good quality carbide burr it will do an amazing job of removing metal. Great for those welds that look a bit rough! It comes with another collet insert that will Accept 1/8 inch bits.

As an auto tech I have and dozens of these over the years that have either broke the collet shaft or just plane wore out. This die grinder was cheap in price , and has proved to be just as good as the more expensive ones.. You really can’t tell the differance in performance.another plus is it comes with an 1/8 inch collet and a 1/4 inch collet that makes it more versatile. I wouldn’t waste my money on high dollar die grinder when this will do the same job.

perfect for grinding rust , body work. hobby shop projects . Might not be pro quality for everyday use but I cant say just yet because I just used it for a few body projects. Performed flawlessly . The few people that say" it was hard to use the safety throttle" should not be allowed near power tools .Maybe the complainers are trying to do too much at once and should spit their gum out . This tool works fine and the basic safety feature is easy to use and does not hamper rapid front line action.

I received today and had to try it right away. This had given me doubts because it was cheap. I was so wrong, it sanded wood down like it was nothing. I bought because I need to sharpen my mower blades. I will see how it does on metal. It's perfect size, it fits in my hand perfectly and extremely comfortable. Power depends on ur compressor I only have a 7 gallon tank so I need to use cautiously. Man it's a little getting use to because it's extremely light in hands. I would need more practice to put the right pressure to make work good. It's an awesome tool and I would recommend to anyone.

I haven't used it yet but it appears to be built well and it has plenty of RPM. I oiled it and hooked it to the hose just to try it out. I don't see having any issues with it as long as I keep the inlet pressure at 90 psi or below. 135 psi blew my last one up. Oops.

For whatever reason, a pneumatic die grinder was never one of the family tools growing up. If you are like me, fix that now! With the scotch brite like abrasive disks this eats paint and smooths metal. It uses a *lot^ of air. But with my 5 gallon tank I can do a little work then wait for the recharge. Almost everything you do will be tiny jobs that don’t exhaust the tank.

Well worth getting. Only minor gripe is the wrenches being stamped steel are a little soft and will not last long. Luckily I have it set up with a Velcro pad mandrel so it will not be changed out often so ….. I can live with this.
