Gets the job done. Quality is ok. But for the price this is excellent value.

Rated for 3" pipe, but the jaws open wider and should handle 3 1/2 inch pipes. Tough, durable steel.

Otherwise very well made and will last 10 years of continued use. However, the teeth on this are not sharp. They almost come to a crisp point, and perhaps actually did at some time in the manufacture, but they have been flattened. OK, so for getting a grip on your average threaded cap, or a pipe section being threaded into a female coupling, this wrench is very, very good. But not good for twisting 2 smooth cylinders apart, one slipped inside the other with a tight fit, and suffering from a mild bit of rust between them.In other words, this wrench isn't good for pulling the seat post out of the seat tube on a bicycle. The teeth simply do not bite into the post, but instead sheer off a thin layer of metal from it as you turn the wrench. It leaves behind a nicely polished, reflective and smooth surface on the post. This is the same trouble I had with the wrench I already owned. This one did no better.I gave up and went the the blue box home improvement store and paid too much for a c*b*lt brand wrench. Teeth really pointed and sharp; they bit into the seat post as needed and with a lot of leaning on the wrench, and some very strange noises coming out of me, it managed to twist the post a little. And as any cyclist knows, once you get the post to twist, the game is won. Patience, penetrating oil, maybe some cider vinegar or ammonia. Any old pipe wrench will do at that point. It's that first grip and twist that demands very sharp teeth. Unfortunately, this wrench doesn't have them.I will keep it though. It's truly a well made, large mouth, long wrench. Despite my negative comment above, I do like this.

Nice pipe wrench for the occasional user. It is a bit heavy but durable and value priced.

No issues with this thing, grips great, adjusts acceptably. Worked on my trailer ball hitch install.

Worked great for replacing a gas valve and entire gas line on a furnace under a house, two of these and I was able to break every connection loose with ease.

I actually purchased this and a rubber hammer to remove a height adjuster from the base of a swivel desk chair. I have always bought rigid pipe wrenches in the past, but since it was single use purchase, I went the less expensive route and purchased this one. I am not disappointed. It is just as well manufactured and serviceable as more expensive tools. It would also make a terrific home defense tool if needed, if you know what I mean.

Its a pipe wrench, but not a very good one. It's a real thin forging, without the weight you get from brands that are just a couple dollars more. I bought it because its yellow, figuring it would be harder to lose.If it's something you know you're going to use just once it's fine. Otherwise, spend a couple more dollars on a nice one

Good solid weight, a little wobbly mechanism, but gives a good grip. For extra leverage, use a steel pipe on the end. Loosen stubborn pipe connections with ease.

Very good pipe wrench. Specially considering the price. At home depot, they sell 8 in pipe wrench for 50+ dollars. This one will be good for most, if not all household needs. Everyone should have a pipe wrench, because there really isn't any other tool that can do it's job. Just like having a hammer, every house should have a pipe wrench.
