My "everyday" earrings are usually rather plain straightforward styles -- smaller hoops, nothing too flashy, comfortable. I save my "bling" for weekends and special occasions.These small hoop earrings are a case in point. Perfect for my everyday use -- they're not too big, not too flashy, and very comfortable. They are definitely gold -- I'm highly allergic to some other metals usually used in styles like this, and I've worn these for several days at a time with no irritation. The diamond-cut etching on the hoops is subtle, but enough to take them out of the "plain" column and into the "special" column. Wearable every day, but with a hint of sparkle at night.These ARE somewhat fragile -- they're hollow hoops (basically, circular hollow "tubes"), but the clasps are sturdy and "click" into the catches securely. You're not likely to lose these while wearing them.Overall, I like them a lot. They are now in my "rotation" of everyday earrings.

Hollow so not worth the weight of the gold (even as jewelry), but this does make it lightweight. Beautiful nonetheless

Given the price, when I received the earrings, I was concerned about the flimsy posts and how connected after putting thru my ear lobes. Unfortunately I was right, as one broke off within 3 weeks, and the earrings were not worn daily.

I was looking for a small hoop, earring sleeper size that I could leave in all the time. These are small and shiny. And yes, I sleep in them and I never take them out except when I am going out and want to wear my dressy earrings.

Lost both earings after the backings on them unscrewed. They were installed tight but the design of them must allow them to become loose and fall off. The plain hoops do not use screw type backings. I recommend those. Stay away from these ones.
