I bought these sockets to do a wheel-bearing replacement on the front of Mom's suburban. So far I've used them twice and have no complaints against them can't beat the price and they worked well with my Kobalt 1000 impact, The Sockets feel well made with no obvious defects they fit the bolts very well and even in a somewhat odd angle removing the top bolt for the wheel bearing on top of the cv axle managed to get it out without stripping the bolt super thankful to have. As for packaging, they were packaged very well and the plastic tray, though not intended for a permanent home for these sockets that tray was placed inside of a blister pack bag and fits really nicely underneath the seat of moms suburban, Where they will reside for the next time I need them. I'm going to look into OTLOOMTBT And see if they have any other products that might make my life easier.

This is a great assortment of sockets. They're solid, hefty, easy to identify, and a good length for lots of tasks. It would be nice if they had a case, I guess, but honestly, I didn't need a case for my needs so that would have just been something to throw away.

I have been usuing these since day one right out of the shipment box. They can withstand more than them cheapy chrome things that cost pretty much the same amount, any time. Glad I got these, they have been a great addition to my tool set. I recommend them.

Excellent value for high-quality impact sockets without a caseI cannot report on their long-term durability, but these appear to be good-quality impact sockets. They are thick-walled and machined nicely such that they fit well onto a standard driver. The only downside is that these come with no case. The shipping box is stapled to reduce loss during shipping, but even if the box could be opened without damage it uses a tuck-top lid which will not remain closed when carried/moved. If they had instead used a self-locking lid with double-folded sides, then the shipping container itself might have at least served as a reasonable indoor storage case. There is a thin plastic tray inside to organize the sockets, but the material is too thin to serve as a long-term storage tray in a toolbox, etc.So, buyers of this item sacrifice a storage case, but receive a quality set of impact sockets for filling up a socket storage space that they already have or can improvise. It's possible that the high-contrast printed sizes might wear off over time (unsure), but the sizes are also permanently molded into the socket near the base. This again shows attention to detail not expected at this price point. If problems arise in the future, I will make an addendum to this review.Recommended. These receive the highest ratings I normally give: 4 stars or Very Good.

Wanted to refresh the suspension on my 125k Taurus (struts, springs, bushings) Nearly every fastener was large, high torque, rusty and had a long bolt, necessitating deep sockets and an 1/2" impact wrench. I only needed 3 sizes, but the cost was about the same as buying a few individual sockets. I also had no regular deep metric socket set so this hits 2 bases. Impact walls are thicker than regular sockets, but I don't see that ever being a clearance issue. Sizes not included (20,23, 25-27) are not commonly used, so no loss.Removing everything was the anticipated PITB, but even with my impact wrench dialed to max, these performed perfectly. Reassembly required up to 166 ftlbs so again 1/2" drive for a long torque wrench was a must.I also like the white size labeling. My short MM & SAE impact sockets only have tiny laser etching and are hard to read.
