The body of it takes up a lot of space in the outlet, but it was workable. Was a good deal otherwise.

I normally buy my GFI's from local hardware stores and decided to give this brand a try due to the cost savings. I have installed dozens of GFI outlets in bathrooms, kitchens and in outdoor receptacles and this brand is substantially larger in size than your typical GFI which can be a bit of a struggle and frustrating to install even if swapping out an older GFI in your outlet box to this one due to the increased sized. Even more disappointing is the outlet did not work. Removed it and went to replace with one I went and purchased at local hardware store and I was finished with this project. I am not sure about the positive reviews here, but my experience is totally negative. I will be returning this for a refund.

I needed to replace my 15 Amp GFI outlet plug in my garage. I wanted one that was simple to install and had the green and red lights indicating “Serviceâ€or that it had “Trippedâ€. The description of the online products allows the shopper not only to read about the product features, but includes ratings and cost comparisons. A little more difficult at the home improvement store. Great selection, good prices and free quick delivery. Thank you Amazon. Don S.
