The product felt great right out of the box. It didn’t have a strong odor nor did it have a heavy greasy film. The rivets at the joints are all punched evenly and the edges all around are eased just right. I’m usual not a fan of grips on hand tools but this is an exception. At first I tried removing it, but its molded design of keepers in the grips secures it plenty for a long life of it not slipping off the tool. The generous size of the pivoting pads can be a plus to others, it is for me. The surface of the pads are smooth with little to no imperfections that can leave impressions on more sensitive finishes. When clamping into locked position it feels positive and the release feels just as good. Great value and quality.

I do high end trim work. These clamps are perfect fooling casing joints during the gluing and screwing process.

In product description it says 14.7†length and 5.1†wide. This NO wear close to the size of the clamp. Look in Product information and you will see the same size details. It says 6†clamp. These seem like very well made clamps but there actual size is not what is stated.
