We grow our own Marijuana and have had issues with popping seeds in the past. Wasn't sure I'd this would work but was amazed at how easy these are to use. We used 5 seeds and all of them popped around the same time or within 2 days of each other. We had no issues to wear We had to use a razor to help the seed open or no problems with the pods not popping correctly. Easy as plant, water and transfer. Safest and quickest way to start our plants. GREAT PRODUCT and will definitely be buying more.

These worked extremely well they hold a lot of water and don’t dry out quickly at all I propagated 5 seeds so far and they are doing great super sturdy little seedlings I really feel like the ever so slight looseness of the compacted Rockwell allowed the seedlings to build an excellent root ball great product at a great price I’ll definitely y buy more when I run out of this pack

First time using rock wool for cannabis clones. Thought I would give it a try for comparison. You need to cut to size, or trim edges after cutting a cube out of block. Then soak for 10 seconds in 5.5 ph water with a nutrient like Clone X. (There directions). I also used a cloning gel on clone stems. Seem to hold moisture well, but wanted to fall apart if not handled or cut to proper size for plug tray. Today is day 8 and decent root growth forming. I’ve just kept in dome, under minimal lighting, misting, and humid. Haven’t decided if I will switch to it permanently yet. Definitely takes longer to prepare than a traditional grow cube and more expensive. Definitely would be great for circulating system. If using like me, clean bottom tray daily.

Did germinate well but fell apart if soaked too long. I like to soak mine in a 5.5 ph solution for a few hours, but when you pick it up a few tried to fall apart. All in all I still used them and they got the seed to sprout.

I do not recommend these. They are loosely wound and hold too much water. I’ve used rockwool cubes before, and the fibers should not be this loose. There’s no integrity to these cubes. When I’m handling them, they feel like they’re about to fall apart in my hands. I’m having a hell of a time germinating anything in these cubes. I’ve never had this many failed attempts at getting seeds to start. And most importantly, these are more dangerous than normal rockwool cubes. When I’m separating and using them, I can actually see the little fibers flying around in the air. It makes me not want to breathe at all and makes me wonder how much of this is being inhaled even while trying not to breathe. That’s my review, and I hope it helps everyone to go look somewhere else for rockwool cubes. Thanks for reading.

In this unstable economy we are facing, many senior citizens are turning to marijuana for pain management. I am one of those, but, your product is awesome I think?? I only say that because being over 60 and trying to learn how to grow anything is a miracle for me. I didn't have a clue how to use it and only wish they came with "made for a 5 year old" directions. This would put you ahead of your competitors.Best wishes and thanks for selling an awesome product!!

So I bought the rock wool in hopes of cloning a few of my plants to go along with the seeds I'm getting ready to start. Amazon has this item rated fairly well so going off the item description this seemed like the perfect buy. So along with the rock wool I purchased a cloning gel to help root development. The night it arrived I put them both to use. I took a clone from two separate plants and used my cloning gel and then inserted them directly into the rock wool. After the first day or two one plant just completed died and the other one is swinging in that direction as well. So I was curious as to why this happened and I did my own research. Come to find out rock wool is not biodegradable and is bad for the environment. So now, I don't know about everyone else but for me when I think about plants and how they grow when they are in there environment rock wool doesn't fit in any of them. So now I am taking a piece of my plant or my seeds and trying to raise them up in a piece of trash basically hoping they will grow big and strong doesn't sit well with me. Not to mention they fall apart when you try and use them. I spoke with another grower who says you should rinse them before you use them. To help with those little pieces of fiber glass that could be inhaled or stuck in your skin. So for me the rock wool is a piece of trash they are selling to people because they don't know what else to do with it them self. I'm extremely glad I didn't start my seeds in them because I'm still waiting to get a few more things for them or I would be so mad. I would not recommend this product to anyone.
