I purchased these to use for a new product I have created - a decorated wall piece. You put it on your wall and the tube slides in the holder - you fill it with water and put your new plant into it and have a beautiful wall piece. I am very pleased with the quality, size and steardiness of these glass tubes - they were perfect for the project.

These are plastic not glass but will do for my project. They are also tapered which in most cases isn’t a problem. However I am using them to line bud vases that I make and the top just under the rim is 1.7cm (0.6693â€) and the closest drill bit falls between 3/8†and 7/8†and costs about $60 from Amazon. So for me are not easy to use but I make do.

I want to experiment with my garden, and I think this will be just the tool. The package was mismarked as an office wall decoration, and while it would make an interesting conversation piece, I think I prefer a tool for my garden. I've never successfully propagated roses by using rooting hormone and soil, so I will try with this. Also sweet potatoes, which easily root in a coffee cup. I will definitely put this to good use.
