There are places where water got in and the wood cross-pieces (between the steel frame arches) got soft and won't hold a screw. I'm not taking the whole thing apart right now over a screw hole here or there. I can't let it leak, either.These rivets are the best plan I've been able to come up with. If I'm careful, I can get the joint trim seated down on new butyl putty without cracking the fiberglass, or doing anything that's going to be in my way later on. Since these are aluminum, they're going to withstand weather, but I'll be able to drill them out when the time comes.I made the mistake of doing a temporary repair with stainless steel rivets. Stainless is almost impossible to drill out of old fiberglass without damaging anything.It might be a few years before I open walls to replace the wood under those joints in the shell, but I'm sure these will hold the trim snug enough and keep the seal sound for however long I leave them.

I have experience using pop/blind rivets and I had never tried the style of rivet before. These arrived just in time for my mailbox hinge to completely rust out. It was dangling by one rusted rivet and decided that I wasn't going to change out the whole mailbox because of this issue.In combination with some properly sized nylon washers so the hinges could move freely and some silicone grease, I riveted the hinge back into place and functionality of my mailbox is back to normal. I think the strength of these rivets even makes for a more durable hinge.

This is a nice box of tri-fold rivets. They seem to be machined well and are clean. The washer is a bit thicker than some others I have seen so they should hold very well. These will really help when I need to fasten something in thinner or softer materials and were worth the investment.

These rivets came in handy when I had to rebuild the dash of an old car. They are great to have on hand for assembling delicate materials that might not hold on to a regular blind rivet. They have good holding power, spread that hold out over a larger area, and are easy to install. I have used two pair of pliers, instead of a rivet setter, then clipped off the stem. It really took very little effort, though it's even faster and easier to install these with an actual rivet setter.

Many of us have rivet guns of various sizes and rivets of all kinds of sizes.These Tri-Fold Rivets are new to me. I've bever had these before.Reminds me of those wall anchors that expand when you tighten the screw down. These are much easier to use though.I have a project coming up that these will be quite handy for. Should I encounter any issues with these I will be sure to revisit this review and update it.For now, I believe these will work great.I see these as a good deal and somewhat unique in the world of rivets. Glad I got them.

These are great for reassembling the dashboard of EZ - Go golfcarts and similar. They have a large front, and an explosive back, which means they'll hold onto just about any two sheets. Plastic, metal, etc. They're great!

these are a decent size so they can hold on to some thick materials. They crush well and look nice once installed. Good kit def recommend.

These worked really good in my rivet gun. The larger-range hold is very helpful and will come in handy for various projects.
