These Ball Transfer Units are used for transporting flat, smooth objects such as trays. It is not suitable for transporting stuff that has an uneven or soft bottom surface such as cloth wrapping. It cannot be used as a swivel caster to move on the floor.

Seem suitable for light loads. Not sure how well they might resist corroding though as it is too soon to know that. Smooth rolling action out of the box.

Rated for 400lbs? Not so much. I used 8 to carry a 400lb load which means each caster should only have been carrying 50lbs each. They all locked up and scratched my finished flooring. Very disappointed and now have to fix floor.

Short one roller bearing. Had to purchase another one. Would have bought them all local if I knew that I would have to drive 30 miles anyway

Upgrading from some plastic rollers that just werent up to the job. These are definaltely more heavy suty and are standing up well on my homemade gravity sifter. Operation is smooth and quiet and installation is a cinch. I used small washers to ensure clamp force is adequate. Love these rollers and they're perfect for what I need!
