it's tape. a whole lotta tape. more tape than one person should use in ten years. let's hope it ages well! it's actually a little too sstrong to easily tear off the roll in the dispenser! a good sign.

So, I had a few disposable tape dispensers getting down to empty, and I thought "What a waste to send the empty dispensers to the landfill. I could refill them."Then I saw the listing for this 16-pack. The rolls fit into the disposable cases, and would also fit the brick-sized metal desk dispensers of the last half century.I did find that one dispenser with plastic teeth had problems cutting the thicker replacement tape. The tape is sturdy. The other two dispensers I had nearby have metal teeth inserted into the plastic. The metal teeth cut the new tape with no problems.I tried taking a half-used roll of store-brand tape out of another dispenser with metal teeth, and swapping it into the dispenser with plastic teeth. The plastic teeth wouldn't cut that, either. The original tape in that dispenser must have been pretty thin.

I bought this to use in a dispenser (similar to the one in the picture I sent with this review) in the church thrift store where I volunteer. The quality of this tape is awful. First it will not tear off easily - takes both hands to tear off a piece of tape. You have to hold your finger across the blade & pull down with the other hand at exactly the right angle. The tape kind of stretches instead of tearing, but then when you get it off it is thin & if you don't hold it with both hands it sticks to itself & you have to throw that piece away & start over. I will never buy this again. The thrift store runs on a tight budget with volunteers & we raise money for a church, school, & community. This tape made our job so much harder & we had to buy more tape that we can actually use.

I needed tape for the holiday season but at the stores they're so expensive so I find these and it's great value! The tape is nice and thick. I put in the dispenser and fits really good and it's easy to cut. Only thing I have to say is that I noticed when wrapping gifts, friendly in the wrapping paper it didn't stick so well. So I got the cheaper wrapping paper that is more like thin paper b and it worked much better. But for overall use is great.

The tape does not stay on dispenser. When it rolls, it is hard to separate tape as it continues to split and you can't get a full piece of tape. Quality is not good.
