I used these to keep my granddaughter safe while playing on our tile floor. Very thick and sturdy. Easy to put together. A little smaller than I expected though

Every tile has a boarder attached, your final size will be smaller by the amount of boarders removed while building your desired design , color block placement, etc.Initial thoughtsThere is a slight chemical smell that dissapates quickly after opening the heat shrink wrapped stack. The tiles are packed in an eye pleasing manner. The iNFO sheet is enclosed in the heat shrink wrap and is positioned prominently on top. The typeface font used is simple and easy to read. There are picture illustrations, not necessary to read it to figure it out by the pictures.The mat walking surface is textured which significantly helps prevent slipping as the surface you are walking on.The bottom of the mats are smooth and may slide on some surfaces. I laid mine down over painted concrete. (Garage converted into living space). The floor mats SLIP and SLIDE without typical intervention similar to keeping rugs from slipping or sliding.The actual corner edges are turning a bit outward making the seam /seal visible (which will drive someone with OCD bonkers). It's been down in my bedroom for less than 24 hours.The material provides a slightly cushy feel as you walk, effectively relieving the stress of standing on your feet for a long time. The vacuum makes a funny sound going over it lightly as the mats are textured. You may need a damp sponge or cloth for clean up. The edges are easy enough to secure further if needed (high traffic area), it will not deter me from adding to the size I have.Aesthetically the tiles are cute and offer a lot of design combinations. I am pleasantly pleased with these Mats and look forward to seeing how they hold up over time. I will update my review periodically or more often if there is something of significance to report.Every tile comes with two outer edges. You will have left over outer edges. These can easily replace any that might get bent, pulled apart, etc. over time.Overall a solid 4.5 stars in my opinion.

I bought this for are cat who is older & jumps off cat stand. So instead of jumping on hardwood floor. It's perfect and fits all the way around

Bath mats didn't work so I looked at this as a 'cushion' on the bathroom super hard tile. It's working not deep foam but better than the bathroom tiles and configurable. yay!

I only got 15 pieces, not 16. So it doesn’t make the 4 by 4 mat. Can’t get a refund or replacement without sending the one I have back. Don’t wanna go through that as it took two weeks to get the first time.

3 stars because the photo is kind of deceiving. The photo makes you think the blocks are big/good size, but in person theyre tiny ting squares. The mats still provide the same cushion effect, just dont expect a lot of coverage on one package.

Safe landing spot for a walking trainee. She loves to plaY and tumble on it and we appreciate a scrubbable surface for the next landing.
