much better than I expected. I got it on sale for my sons bday. build quality seems a lot better than typical impractical shooting toys. a functioning bow that shoots pretty damn hard for its size. of course you won't be going hunting with this, and don't even thing about using it for home defense. but for a toy, this thing rocks!

The 16.5 inch mini recurve compound bow and arrow set is a hobbyists delight. The compound bow is made of aluminum and is very sturdy. It shoots just like a full sized compound bow. It comes with ten composite arrows, a target and is fun for target shooting. Although it is a 16.5 inch replica of a full sized bow it it powerful enough to require caution when shooting…if not careful severe injury could result. That said, it is well constructed and fun to shoot. It also comes with a sight which can be mounted. It is worth the inexpensive $25.99

I've had this bow in my cart multiple times and finally just ordered it for my son for a stocking stuffer. I was very skeptical but I figured it was Amazon if it sucked I'd return it. I'm totally surprised after reading so many negative reviews on similar bows. The only thing to assembly was the sight and the nocks on the back of the arrows. My son is 10 and a traditional bowmen he loves it. Was a perfect stocking stuffer.

I wasn't expecting this bow to be so dang cool and so real. This is literally just a compound bow scaled down but made with all the same parts just smaller. It would be really really cool to teach young ones about how bows work. Its surprisingly strong for its size so caution is needed when using and parental supervision for minors would be a good idea. It arrives completely assembled and the only thing you need to do is attach the sight if you want it. It is a great conversation piece and anyone familiar with bows will immediately pick it up and start asking questions. Really pleased with this package and for the price the value is hard to beat.
