I bought these grippers to try it out on the rug in my office. Boy was that a great decision. This rug would slide all over the office. I added the strips and the rug has stayed in place! And even better, there is a spot where my desk chair would roll over the rug and it would bunch up. No more bunching either. I tried the under rug mat with no luck. Our pup kept slipping on them. These tapes have held the runners in place and stopped the risk of him hurting himself.

Find another brand! I’ve ordered other brands of rug grippers at least 3 times over the past few years and they have performed perfectly. I just replaced a runner and a round rug on a tile floor and had to use a pot scraper the pull the grippers off the floor after about 4 years of use. After less than a week, these grippers pulled away from the rug and then from the floor. Very disappointing!

After weeks of struggling with my office rug bunching up and sliding around under my rolling desk chair, I decided to give rug tape a try. I opted for a high-rated, double-sided adhesive rug tape, reputed for its strength and versatility on various surfaces, including the low-pile carpet in my office.The application process was straightforward. The tape came with clear instructions, and I applied it along the edges and a few strategic spots in the middle of the rug. I immediately noticed the difference. The rug stayed firmly in place, despite the constant back-and-forth rolling of my chair.One of my initial concerns was the residue that might be left on my carpet when I decide to remove or reposition the rug. However, the product claimed to be residue-free, and a few tests on a less visible area of my carpet confirmed this. The tape also did not damage the underside of my rug, which was a pleasant surprise.

I recently purchased this gripper for rugs to help keep my area rugs securely in place, and I must say, I’m very impressed with its performance. Installing the carpet sticker was incredibly easy.
