So far, so good. I don't know anything about clarinets, but my son started playing this year at school. He had an issue with a couple of pads, so I purchased these and my husband followed some youtube directions about how to apply them, and my son seems satisfied with the results. It's only been a couple of week, so I can't speak to longeviity, but so far they've worked well enough that we've avoided needing to take the clarinet to a shop for a more expensive and time-consuming repair.

Fit fine. I was resistant to taking off any screws. I got the old glue off and melted a small bubble of glue on the key then heated again as I put the pad on and flattened it with a scaple type tool. Waited a few seconds. It seemed to hold and plays fine. I don’t recommend this but it did work for me. I only play once a week.

The pads seem just fine. Good installation instructions would have been helpful. We ended up using hot glue.

As a band teacher, I'm often finding students who need an emergency repair for a lost pad. Ideally they can find the pad in their case or on the floor, but often they have no idea where or when it was lost ("It's been sounding funny for a week or two." Ugh!). Great to keep a supply of these on hand for those moments. The couple I've used so far have worked just the same as the more expensive ones that come in the teacher repair kits from various name brands.

We have several clarinets in this house since I play, as does my daughter, who is in college band. We frequently find old instruments at estate sales, etc and bring them home to restore them. This set of pads, while not top of the line, worked very well for our purposes. They went on easily, and once the cement set, stayed on. You normally have to have a few adjustments when putting on any pad, but these required very few. They sat well in the key and on the holes and gave us no problems at all. They are way cheaper than the ones we bought to put on my personal instrument and for the slight difference in quality, I would buy these again.
