Everyone who has radiators in their home should keep a supply of these in a drawer somewhere. They work well and are easy to install. When you need one, you probably really need one, and it's not something you will find at the local hardware store or big home improvement stores.

Easy replacement for my gunked up/leaking decades old radiator valves. Oil company replaced one valve that wouldn't stop dripping for around $90. Other than making sure the pressure is completely relieved (don't forget the expansion tanks!) this as simple a diy project as you can as for. When we needed work done on the boiler a month later, having the new valves in place made bleeding the radiators much easier.

I've been in this house for 82 years, some time around mid 40's to early 50's we had radiatorsstill have radiators we went from coal in the 40's and into early 50's 1953 went from coal to Gasbest heat same heater also so I've been fixing the house all the paint over the years time for new valvesremember the small thing they mean a lot

They seem to be good quality and I replaced a whole host of original valves that were falling apart in my radiators. Price for 5 was similar cost as my local big box store charges for 1.

I recently bought these because I needed a quick fix for my radiator and these were the best option when i looked at mine and compared them to the ones on this website, especially for this price as they can go for $12 each outside of the internet.They fit on my radiator, they stuck out a little bit because they're a little longer than the old valves, but that doesn't seem to impact their performance, durability, or function, i was surprised how well this works and i recommend to anyone who have old radiators, my house was built in the 30's.....
