This drop rod/bolt was very easy to install. Once I drilled a hole in our concrete, I attached the hardware as indicated and everything worked perfectly. This rod was just what we needed to secure our door. Good price and good quality.

Mainly for 4 ft fences or lower clearance fencing. 6 ft & up go with 18 for more strength.

We used this gate drop rod on the double gate Husband built to park his utility trailer, and it's working great. It's really solid and well built, and Husband is very happy with the gate drop rod.

Using this item to replace the drop rods on our gate. Much sturdy than what is currently there, which have bent wit the weight of the gate, I suspect. No complaints with this product.
