Had to update this review after working with the seller. The seller was very polite in their response about the missing parts for the bench to be assembled. Not only did they reply but they sent a whole new product that has all the parts needed to assemble. The stool is very rich looking and sturdy, not to mention super easy to assemble. Thanks to the seller for going the extra mile. Would certainly order from them again.One star because this will eventually be cute and useful. The instructions show that there are 2 sets of screws....one short and one longer but there are 2 sets of short screws. Impossible to put together. Where we live is difficult to return so we will keep it and we'll have to find some other screws that fit. Spend more money on a product that should have had parts included if quality control were an actual concern for manufacturers. Will not buy from this seller again.

I tried for hours to assemble this stool and even hired someone to come and do it for me who was also unable to assemble it using the provided parts. Quality is obviously cheap and this was a total scam that I had to just throw away.

This stool was easy to assemble. I followed the instructions to the letter. To my surprise, the metal pieces did not line up exactly: The tab on the footrest that attaches to the stool leg was at a different angle than the stool leg, so there is a small gap there. It's small, just enough to see a sliver of daylight through, but if you look you can see it doesn't line up perfectly. Also the legs poke out at an angle, so the bottom of the leg does not sit flat on the floor. It's slightly pointed.I believe these errors occurred from the placement of the screw holes on the seat (which attach the legs) being placed inward too far. It doesn't take much, just a few millimeters of error, and the pieces fail to line up perfectly.That said, the stool seems sturdy. I like the basket (rope?) woven seat. It adds a hint of natural grace to the otherwise industrial looking design. While I don't really care for the industrial look, I appreciate that it is modern and trendy and in style. So I did not deduct any points for the appearance even though I don't find it very attractive. The only points deducted were for the pieces not lining up perfectly.Overall, it's a functional, sturdy stool with a modern design. But the machining is not precise, so the pieces might not line up perfectly.

Super cute and super easy to assemble. I had it put together in maybe 10 or 15 minutes. I like the constrast of the black of the legs against the natural wood color of thw woven seat. Its surprisingly comfy, maybe because of the way thw seat is curved. Its the perfect height for my countertop.
