As expected, these are thin and lightweight, but do not tear. They hold a lot of 'heft' with no challenges.I've used to mail a variety of enclosures, sometimes with a thin cardboard insert for additional protection.no complaints

It’s hard to write a review about everyday items that you need. I got these because sometimes you just need a large envelope to mail a document. I like keeping this size on hand. These are a great value of the price of the product. So far I have had no issues with the envelopes staying sealed (yes, I mailed one to myself to see how well the seal worked through the postal system). I definitely recommend this product.

These are self-sealing which is nice but there's no clasp for closing without sealing as is found on most manila envelopes of this type. Not for mailing photos without cardboard reinforcement of some kind. Overall, quite useful but a brass clasp and thicker paper would be more useful.
