I used these hurricanes over my taper candles and I love the added sparkle they create. They also helped to protect the flames from the breeze in the room. They did collect a bit of soot at the top as the candle burned, but it was easily washed away. They’re really narrow and tall, so they are a little challenging to clean, but a long-handled bottle brush did the trick. I think they’re really pretty and I like using them. I could see their added benefit if there are kitties in the house that might decide to get on the furniture near them – protect them from getting scorched.
