Motor seems smooth and sufficient power. Lots of speed variation. Only problem is the handle is cheap and broke quickly. I made a new on with wood and a 3in bolt as seen in picture. Runs hot to the touch but I have about 6or 7 hrs of using it and other than the handle seems good. Especially compared to a similar makita drumb brush that cost 10x as much

Works well and has multiple speeds to get the finish you are looking for. Good price. Handle is plastic, but seems sturdy.

I do a good amount of metal work and I thought I would give the LDHTHOPI a shot. The assembly is straight forward. The guard does tend to move after some use but it is easy to re tighten with a flat head screw driver. The SCT has good power, and does a good job. The sanding drum that comes with the SCT disintegrated pretty quick (20min of use), and left red fuzz dust all over the shop. I would recommend getting a different drum. The screw at the end of the drum backs out periodically so be sure to keep an eye on it. Does it do the job, yes. Is it perfect, not really.

Though I think this is meant more for car restoration, we found it works great for stripping multiple layers of paint on old wood work. It will gouge the crap out of it too if you're not careful. I hope they paid the inventor for his rights to manufacture it
