When I first opened the outer package I was greeted by a strong chemical smell. But that dissipated quickly, and the individual pouches for a variety of really pretty small feathers did not smell. I put them all in a Ziploc bag and have not noticed any more smell. The feathers themselves range from very small to about 3" tops, and that is exactly what I had wanted. I like that they are natural and not died with gory colors.

These feathers worked perfectly for my son’s Native American school project. There was a good variety, small and large. You get a lot of each for the price.

These feathers are beautiful and exactly as pictured however they are smaller than I anticipated. They did not work well for the project I had in mind. But they will probably work for future project and be just right.
