fit my old 1970 454 perfect! properly shimmed the starter & checked in 4 places flywheel had maybe 10 thousands run out using the 1/8" drill bit method. Buttoned her up and she sounded better than she ever has while cranking should have done this along time ago. Took her for a good ride with a few hole shots no problems. Yes i would recommend this flex plate

This is the 2nd flexplate I have bought from PRW, the 1st one was for our 409 Chevy and that saved our butts because there is not another company that sells them for the old '09. This one is perfect as well. Will buy and recommend PRW products as well. Very Happy with this purchase.

I had this flexplate installed in my 454 Chevrolet, which is externally balanced and requires the flexplate to be balanced, and it vibrated so badly that it was unuseable. The part was verified to be correct for my engine. I called the manufacturer and told them of the problem and I asked if they would refund me the installation cost of $300.00. They informed me that was not their policy. So I got another flexplate from a different manufacturer and paid for a SECOND installation of a flexplate into my truck. I am very disappointed.

This was shipped very quick, bolted on my Chevrolet 454 ci. (gen 4 )and it worked great with my starter. Cad plate is nice, welds on the counter weight are looking good too. Ran true, no vibrations. I would buy again if I needed another one.

Part is bent. When bolted up it runs out .110. Had to have it machined to run true. Ended up cost more to rework than it cost originally. Very poor quality.
