Even though these are 3mm OD instead of the 5mm OD in the description, they seem good.They might be seconds because there are some glass flaws ... tiny bits of glass specks on a couple rods, one rod has a tiny bubble in the end, and others have flaws that first appears to be a chip but looking under magnification they are inside the glass. I don't really have any other glass rods to compare them to so maybe these are standard flaws for this type of glass stir rods.NOTE: They were shipped inside a small plastic bag and then inside a bubble bag with the label and then inside the mailing envelope (a padded Kraft mailer).

Your product description says "Stir rods 5 inch length x 5mm O.D. glass with rounded fire Polished ends sold in packs of 12 each". And under Product Details it says "Product Dimensions: 5 x 0.2 x 0.2 inches ; 2.7 ounces"In REALITY they are 3 mm O.D. (that's .118").The package has the correct part number "1900-5-DZ and says "Stir Rods Glass 125mm L (5") x 3mm od.Your description is wrong and needs to be changed.

They are fine but be careful - they break very easily.
