Silicone through and through, the good stuff! It’s similar to silicone I’ve paid twice as Much for. It’s flexible yes still rigid enough to deal with the push and pull of a performance engine cooling system. no leakage thus far, using as my engine inlet hose so it’s close to the heat, I’m surprised at how squishy it feels. It’s still very much keeps it shape under heat and pressure. I could imagine this hose costing about twice as much if you went to an auto parts store and it looks pretty similar to some of the ones I’ve seen at there as well. Nice blue color especially if you’re going for a USA theme. So far it’s been good Isaac for a complete cooling system. You probably need about three or four for the heat core in and out as well as the ancient Inlet In-N-Out and perhaps to the coolant reservoir, depending on what type you have. I wanna see how many heat cycles withstand as I am slightly suspicious of the lack of rigidity however, I’m not experiencing issues just yet.. Stay tuned!

This is great hose that won't deteriorate over time like traditional rubber heater hose. It doesn't form cracks on the inside of the hose, and it's extremely resistant to high temperatures over time. It doesn't kink easily either. I'm adding it on to a coolant pre heater on a diesel car, and as I said in my title - this hose will be there long after the car is drivable because it will outlast everything else. I would say make sure you fasten it very securely so it doesn't pop off when it's warm. Terrific product.

This heater hose is quite thick and sturdy. It is slightly ticker than the original hose that I took off my heater core. The only complaint I have is the hose clamps that come with it are cheap and I personally hate them, but I just used another set I had. Overall, this is a good replacement option.
