Strong good looking bars that are exactly what I need to help me after my injury. I didn’t want my house to look like a nursing home, but I needed help on the steps while I heal. They installed quick and easy with all needed hardware supplied, and actually look nice and fit in with our decor.

Grand kids 1 1/2 and 2 use it to get up and down stairs without a handrail. Haven't had one fall since the install. Great product and well made.

The need for a handrail or hand grasp is to be strong and stable and a good appearance does not hurt. Six screws might be overkill, but 4 might not work for a weakened wall segment allowing one screw to lose its hold and excess screws are less a problem than a deficiency of them.

The product arrived on time. I installed this at the top of my stairs on the 2nd floor horizontally - I needed something to grab as I get up to the top.I only give it 4 stars because the 3 holes to mount the railing does not fit in1.5". I made sure that I was able to mount 2 screws in the middle of the stud and holds very well - just wish that I would have been able to mount 3 screws.

We installed this bar to help my elderly father up one set of stairs without a rail from family room to kitchen. It was easy to install, great quality and exactly what was needed to help him from falling.
