This Water Bowl has been a lifesaver for my messy drinker! I have a Golden Doodle who loves to splash water everywhere while drinking, and this bowl has completely solved that problem. The anti-digging lid works perfectly to prevent splashing and spilling (my puppy used to dig in the water bowl and would make a mess) and the rubber bottom keeps it firmly in place. It’s large enough to hold plenty of water for a full day at home, which is a huge bonus.The stainless steel design feels sturdy and easy to clean, and I love that it slows down my dog’s drinking just enough to reduce dribbling and mess. It’s not completely “spill-proof†if it’s tipped over, but for normal use, it’s definitely as close as you can get. Plus, the anti-splash feature means I no longer have to constantly mop up puddles around the bowl.I’d highly recommend this for anyone with a dog that loves to play with their water or just to reduce spillage It’s been a game-changer for keeping things clean and stress-free, both at home and on the road. Our new puppy liked to step in the water bowl and play. Tried buying another bowl similar to this one but my other dog was able to chew it up. Was hesitant getting this bowl figuring the same would happen, but it didn’t—this bowl is great. Used it for several months now and it still holding up strong. Dogs have not chewed it up! It’s maybe indestructible!!!! It stopped puppy from playing in water bowl plus slowed down drinking for our adult dog and way less mess. Love this bowl and it’s easy to clean and refill. Only good things to say about it.

Nice, big, no splash bowl. Love the construction, easy to clean. BUT after two months of use, rust is beginning to appear on the bottom of the stainless steel. Bummer.

These were exactly as described. They sure do limit the sloppy water mess. I purchased 2 for my German shepherds and they are great and hold a lot of water and are easy to clean.

After years of cleaning up water several feet from the bowl, I happened to find this on Amazon. I was skeptical but it really cuts way, way down on splashes and I am thrilled.One of my dogs sends water up to three feet away when she drinks. With this bowl, there may be a few little splashes right next to the bowl but mot many. Has cut way down on messes to clean up every day.The large size is fine for my two 75 lb dogs but in summer, I have to refill it a couple times a day. A larger size would be nice for hot weather months.It appears to be good quality and is very sturdy so I think it will last for years. Also has a nonslip coating on the bottom. If you have a messy drinker, I highly recommend this.

This bowl is working well to reduce the amount of water drip and spill my Golden Retriever generates. It also (mostly) prevents her from "digging" in the water dish. We still get some water drops from her jowls, but much less than with a regular water dish. The only downside is that I have to refill nearly every day. It's worth it to not have to mop up after her.

I bought this because my rescue dog drank like a pelican. She would dip her whole muzzle deep in the water to drink, swallow maybe half of it, and then her jowls would carry around the rest and disperse it throughout the house.I was recommended one of these types of bowls to slow her down and save my floors. The floating plastic disc at the top does leave a neat little reservoir for her to drink from, which is nice. But, if your dog is determined like mine, within a couple of minutes they might figure out that if they just shove their muzzle down, pushing the floaty disc deeper in the water, they can get the face-soaking jowl-filling drink that they came for regardless. Sigh.I'm giving this five stars anyway because I can see where it would be helpful for normal dogs. The screw-top rim that holds the plastic floating disc in place seems well built, and it locks securely on the bowl. The rubber bottom is nice to hold the bowl in place. And the stainless steel of the bowl makes it really easy to clean when your dog inevitably leaves a bunch of crumbs and other detritus on the bottom.
