Most of the negative reviews of these say something like, “They’re smaller than I expected,†or, “They’re too small.†Yes, they are small. The description is very specific: 30ml/1oz. That’s two level tablespoons… and my measurements confirm that to-the-rim. (If you’re planning to use them to serve a liquid such as soy sauce, I wouldn’t put more than 1 1/2 tablespoons in at most.)They could possibly be useful to organize and hold small parts or as mise en place containers.But they are quite presentable, plenty nice for most table services where they’re prefect as individual butter servicing dishes, for strong condiments such as mustard, horseradish, or chili oil, or as individual salt cellars. They would work well for serving individual lemon wedges. They may have appetizer or amuse-bouche applications, or for tasting-menu service. They may even work for some especially-rich deserts.They are good-quality, basic-white ceramic dishes. Their small size and simple shape helps them fit into a place setting. And they’ll bend well with many china patterns.They’d actually make a fun gift for someone who likes to set an elegant table.While the ceramic material is dishwasher-safe, their small size may pose a challenge.These are not good as egg cups to serve soft-boiled eggs, but are the right size to serve hard-boiled eggs.I like them. For my intended purpose as individual butter serving dishes, they will work well. If you understand their size, they may work well for you too.They stack nicely for storage up to about six high.

Perfect size for small condiments, cleans well in dishwasher, works well for different uses - sauces, medicine holder, versatility. Has been knocked off counter several times and hasn’t broken. Color consistent throughout. Worth the money.

These are definitely on the small side, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. They would be great for a small amount of dipping sauce, like ketchup, ranch, etc. However, I use them to organize my daily supplements. I prepare 6 days worth of supplements and tuck away on my kitchen counter. When stacked they take up very little space. The small ridge on the bottom allows them to stack nicely without wobbling.

I love my sauces! These are great for dipping. I hate using a bigger dish than I need to, so these are perfect. I have them stacked in two rows on my cabinet and they are pretty sturdy. They’ve been through the dishwasher a bunch. I would 100% recommend.

Been looking for some 1 - 1.5 oz side/sauce dishes for a while and finally decided upon these. Love they fact they are the scallop-style ramekins that seem to be everywhere. Perfect size for sauces and the like. Seem to be nicely made and a nice white color (though not super bright white). Like that they are stackable without having to jostle them into position. They easily rest on top of each other.

I like these for when I’m making something that requires a lot of spices, ginger, fresh garlic, etc. They keep everything organized and they look nice. They are REALLY SMALL though. Like the size of an infants palm LOL

I ordered these for my charcuterie board for Thanksgiving. I received them, and the size was great but the top two of each ramekin was broken, shattered into pieces. I did not return because I needed it and was worried I wouldn’t get a replacement in time, but just an FYI in case you order these.
