Still working great after 5 months and a lot of use!Update: Still working after about 6 uses. Has not smoked out. I clean the smoke off the probe. Seems like it will last.I replaced the thermometer that came with my pizza oven that became useless immediately on first use. These thermometers can't really handle smoke and soot getting into them, which is likely to happen if the probe is exposed to the oven interior. So far this seems to be staying accurate and hasn't gotten all black and smoke. I have used it 3 times with very high heat fires going. We'll see if it lasts.

This gauge worked initially, but on second use I realized the gauge gets stuck and either stays stuck or suddenly jumps from around 300 up to 400. It's not accurate in that range. I'm betting I just have a bad gauge....but can't recommend based on that. I will be replacing it again soon.

Got this to replace thermometer on the pizza oven. Slightly bigger but a lot easer to read. Used it a few times now and the old one went black however this is holding up well.
